We recommend taking the metro to ShamrockFest due to road closures for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. Take Metro’s Blue or Orange Line to the Stadium-Armory Station.

DRIVING TO SHAMROCKFEST?
See the road closure map and plan your course knowing that you will not be able to cross the marathon route after 3AM on Saturday 3/16. Here is the road closure map.
If you are a vendor, artist or band, you will be parking in Lot 7. Please follow the directions below in blue. Directions from VA are posted in blue, directions from MD will be posted ASAP.
Parking for guests ShamrockFest 2013 is in LOT 8 at RFK Stadium.Please follow the directions below.
- OPTION #1: Take the George Washington Parkway North and follow signs for I-395 to Washington. Stay on I-395 North, across the Potomac River, for approximately three miles. Take the 6th Street SE exit toward the Navy Yard. At bottom of the ramp turn left at traffic light onto 6th Street, SE. Stay on 6th Street for .5 miles to Independence Avenue. Turn Right onto Independence Ave. and stay on Independence for 1.1 miles to 19th Street. Continue on Independence Ave. past 19th Street (passing the DC Armory on the Left). Stay in the right lane and follow the signs into Lot 8.
- OPTION #2: Take the George Washington Parkway North and follow signs for I-395 to Washington. Stay on I-395 North, across the Potomac River. Once you cross the river continue on i-395 North and remain in one of the two left lanes. I-395 turns into I-695 (new road). Continue on I-695 across the 11th Street Bridge and make your way to the far right lane. Take the exit for 295 North. Merge over to the right lane and take the exit for Pennsylvania Avenue West. Merge onto Pennsylvania Ave., SW and remain in the right lane. At the first stop light make a sharp right onto Barney Circle, SE. Proceed straight to the stop sign on to the RFK Access Road.
- Take I-95 South to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway South towards Washington. Merge onto 295 South. DO NOT take the Exit for BENNING ROAD. Continue past Benning Rd. to the Pennsylvania Avenue East exit. Merge on to Pennsylvania Ave. and move immediately to the far left lane. Make a U-Turn at the first Light (Fairlawn Ave.). You can only make a U-Turn from the far left lane!Follow Pennsylvania Ave., SW over the river and remain in the right lane. At the first stop light make a sharp right onto Barney Circle, SE. Proceed straight to the stop sign on to the RFK Access Road.
- Make your way to the 3rd Street Tunnel entrance (leading to I-395) by turning South onto 3rdStreet, NW from Massachusetts Avenue, NW. Take the ramp on the left to I-395. Merge onto I-395 and move to the far left lane. Take Exit 7 to I-295. The exit ramp will dump you on I-695 East. (This drops you onto Option #2 from instructions above.) Continue on I-695 across the 11th Street Bridge and make your way to the far right lane. Take the exit for 295 North. Merge over to the right lane and take the exit for Pennsylvania Avenue West.Merge onto Pennsylvania Ave., SW and remain in the right lane. At the first stop light make a sharp right onto Barney Circle, SE. Proceed straight to the stop sign on to the RFK Access Road.
VENDOR (from VA) DIRECTIONS:
Directions RFK Lot 7 from VAHead to DC via Rt 66
Take exit 75 to VA-110 S toward 1-395 N (Pentagon City/Crystal City/Reagan Airport)
Continue onto US-1
Continue on Southwest Fwy to I-395 N (stay in center lane) don't exit at D street
Then follow 295 south to 295 North (the route symbol is white)
Get in right lane and follow ramp to 295 North (this is a new ramp)
Merge onto Benning RdThis will become I-695 (I didn’t see any signs to indicate this)
You will cross over the Anacostia River on a new over ramp
Then the exit to DC 295 N
Do not take the Pennsylvania Ave Exit – keep driving North for 2 miles
You will see RFK Stadium on your left
Get in the far left lane, the Benning Rd exit is on the left
Take an immediate left onto Benning Rd and stay in the left lane
You will turn left at the 3rd stoplight onto Oklahoma Ave, NE
The lot entrance will be on your left at 544 Oklahoma Ave, NE
